Medical Science Liaison – Dermatology – South Central (TX, OK, LA, AR, NM)

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a member of a field-based team of scientists who function as an extension of the Medical Affairs organization.  MSLs are responsible for developing and enhancing professional relationships with medical thought leaders throughout various phases of drug development.  MSLs provide medical information through scientific exchange in a fair-balanced, ethical manner and provide clinical/scientific support for Cara Therapeutics and the Medical Affairs department at the direction of Medical Affairs management.

This is a field-based position and requires professionals to credibly interact with thought leaders and centers of excellence.  The position involves travel of more than 60%.

***Candidates must live within the territory and close to a major airport. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.

Medical Science Liaison – Dermatology – Mid-Atlantic (PA, South NJ, MD, DE, VA, DC, WV)

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a member of a field-based team of scientists who function as an extension of the Medical Affairs organization.  MSLs are responsible for developing and enhancing professional relationships with medical thought leaders throughout various phases of drug development.  MSLs provide medical information through scientific exchange in a fair-balanced, ethical manner and provide clinical/scientific support for Cara Therapeutics and the Medical Affairs department at the direction of Medical Affairs management.

Associate Director, Business Analytics and Intelligence

The role of the associate director, business analytics and intelligence is to support the investor relations, strategy and finance functions with continuous, regular periodic, and ad-hoc analyses of internal and third-party data. This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly visible, collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to Cara’s business. The successful candidate is expected to drive innovation and build business analytics that enable Cara to develop insight-driven strategies and tactics and make evidence-based decisions. The candidate will clearly communicate data insights to a range of internal stakeholders and the Cara leadership team. The candidate is expected to collaborate and build strong relationships with multiple business leaders and members of the Cara executive team.

Manager, Investor Relations

The role of the manager, investor relations is to support all aspects of the investor relations function. This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly visible, collaborative, and covers a broad range of activities from managing day-to-day administrative tasks to supporting strategic initiatives. The position is highly visible in the organization and the candidate is expected to collaborate and build strong relationships with multiple business leaders and members of the Cara executive team.
