Manager/Sr. Manager Medical Affairs

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Lead the publication planning process and serve as the point of contact with medical communications agencies
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and contracting process for external vendors and track the Medical Affairs budget
• Support medical congress planning and execution, including liaising with congress organizers to secure medical booth(s) and scientific symposia, medical review of exhibit materials, and staffing the medical booth
• Support advisory board planning and execution, including strategic planning, advisor selection, content development, and liaising with medical communications agencies
• Support content development for disease state educational tactics, including creation and maintenance of MSL resources
• Support medical affairs launch readiness planning, including field medical planning and operations, medical insights analysis, and data gap analyses
• In addition, the Manager/Sr. Manager may also be asked to support Clinical R&D during site visits

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Self-starter with strong organizational skills
• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, or DNP highly desired)
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentations skills
• Must be a strong team player and effectively interface with other internal departments
• Within commuting distance of Stamford, CT

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry preferred
• Experience in Nephrology or Dermatology therapeutic areas preferred
